Blogger family 2 contenu Blogger, a big family! Part 2

Let’s go on with this second chapter of « Blogger, a big family »

But before i wanted to tell you i’ll answer Nowa’s review comments tomorrow because i choose to dedicate my evening to this post and also to visit your blogs where i was a bit late. ^^

In short….
As i announced, each person who posted on Lylibellule will have his slot on this post in 4, even 5 chapters.

Before introducing the 12 blogs of this second selection, i wanted to thanks you for the enthusiasm you manifested back then for the first post, and a double thanks for those who, in return did a post on their own blog to thanks me. A act who deeply touched my heart.

And let’s begin!

To start, 2 blogs who are also wrote in French and English / Pour commencer, 2 blogs qui, eux aussi sont écrits en français et en anglais

Miki Blogger, a big family! Part 2

Miki-Century

Mikiwank is the author of this site mainly focused on figmas (THE Miki’s predilection figure ;) ), PVC, Revoltech, Myth Cloth, Gunpla and Gundam. You meet a nendo from time to time.
Reviews are well introduced and photos are always entertaining and pleasant to look at.
You can also found a forum there.
But before everything else, for me, Miki is also a friend on which i can count on and i appreciate him a lot.

My consuming passion for Japanese animation has always been to pair with the collection of products. I started from 1988 with the first toys of Saint Seiya arrived in France. My list to Santa Claus that was full of it. I have therefore full of figurines called « vintage » Saint seiya. The appearance of Myth Cloth has been that stoke the fire burning, bubbling in me for this series.
My other great passion turns to Macross, Gundam which I collect and annimé series models. The Gunpla is my main hobby, I spend considerable time as it is for the realization of Gundam kits or administration of my forum hangar-mk. On this forum gathers a crowd of fans Gunpla. It discusses the series of news regarding the models and garage kits resin. Everyone can come and learn techniques Gunpla (use of plastic cards, paintings, masks, etc. …). Everyone is welcome, newbie or expert. Although the forum is in French, most of our members are English speaking and we are ready to become a form of Gunpla International. So please register on Hangar-mk (HMK).

More personally, I also directs Miki-Century, on this blog, you will find many reviews. Much is for PVC figures and action figures like the Figma (I’m a fanboy too may say some ^ ^), Revoltech, SHFiguarts and of course the Myth Cloth. Soon new standards will swell the ranks elsewhere.
The reviews and reviews of anime are present including Code Geass and Gundam 00!
You will also find my WIP achieving Plamo.
Comments are always welcome and are always fun;) I take pleasure in one’s reviews and these photos and more to share my passions, what inspires me. Welcome to Miki-Century. «

Jinto.0’s blO.og

What i like on Jintoo’s blog is his texts : always well written and rich in information. Layouts are always flawless and photos got their very own style.
Updates don’t come that often but when there’s one, it’s worth it.

Moreover, Jintoo is also a MODERATOR on the very famous website Tsuki-Board.

Jintoo :

«  My passion / my collection.
I was interested in the Japanese culture since I was a child (animes & video games) but I started a real collection in 2005 with the « Myth Cloth » toyline by Bandai (action figure from Saint Seiya). Saint Seiya was my favorite anime when I was young (L)
In 2007 I had a crush on Kureha by Max Factory. I started PVC figures and even if I did not know where the character came from, I was ready to buy just  by admiring the charadesign itself (another example: Ignis by Max Factory). By seeing the beautiful pictures of some members of the community (I am thinking of lu-k who writes mukyaa~), I decided to do pictures too: I always try to give a value added: a funny idea or something like that. So I was able to do a picture serie inspired by Aubade’s ad campaign for example :P

My activity for the community : blog & Tsukiboard/MFC

I started my blog in 2008 ’cause I wanted to publish a review of the figure Kallen Stadtfeld by Alpha x Omega. Taking pictures was not enough: I felt a need to express my thoughts about this figure which is one of my favorite.
Writing a blog is another way to live my passion, I spend time to write in order to share my feelings and my opinion about products from animes (mainly toys). I hope it can help people to choose whether buying products or not, whether watching animes or not, or make them have fun just by reading.
And on the contrary to forums, this blog is like a home: I can write anything I want, I have to lead this personal project and make this blog live (I must admit it is not easy :P ).
I just can advise people to create their own like I was advised by James about 2 years ago ;)
I also have other tasks as moderator on Tsukiboard / my figure collection.net. I really like this website because it has an international environnent ^_^ Of course people can manage their collection with the profile system but it is also possible to talk and make friends with people all around the world =)
Besides the picture system is appreciable insofar as people can easily find pictures of a figure… whether it is official shots or the ones that were made by members of the community. Just try by yourself :P «

GREWs Daily Otaku Life

Grew’s blog content is very diversified : Review, daily-life, animes… and a sympathetic atmosphere. Lately, Grew posted about his wallpapers makings with Photoshop and i was nicely surprised by his works whose are magnificent (HERE). There’s stuffs for everyone. DOn’t hesitate to pay him a visit.

Grew :

» Well, it’s quite hard to discribe my ‘passion’. I would say it’s quite an entertaining and expensive hobby too.
But let’s start with the beginning of this passion called Anime, Manga and later in Figure.
Everything started with Manga character that I saw in a Window shop. I liked the style really and began to look after it.
It was 2004 with the first Manga, later on it was Anime on DVD. After that in 05 I started Sub Animes.
Everything went well. Since then I bought many DVDs and Mangas with the little Money I had.
And late 2008 everything changed with my first C.C. Figure. It was my first and it was an weird feeling.
Somehow nice and somehow what did I bought. Soon after that I found myself in the world of figure and buy them now from Europe and
Japan too.
To my Blog I can say it was first an Blog about my Uploads Anime Episodes. The visits were not much, but still okay for the start. I had some post about my life too.
But in 2009 summer someone hacked my RS account and it was over. So I decieaded to write about my Life as an beginner Otaku.
At that time I was in Egypt and had nothing to write. But I think it was interesting with the first starts in my work life. I post them and somehow it was
interesting for some people (when I look at the stats). And after that I got more money to spent in all those things. And now in Photoshoots too since
I bought my Eos. I think my Blog will grow continuly. I want that the people visit my Blog even more. And I, of course, have even more storys to tell.
Like shootings or just real life. Hopy you all like those things I write.
If not, say so and post it! «

Moemoekyun

Here’s a blog who is, for me mainly introspective. Moemoekyun love to share what he feels, his emotions, his angers on sometimes difficult subjects. I can notably reference his post about Sharks who are there to take advantage of our passion and our money, especially with exclusivities, poor collectors and consumers as we are.
If you’re not afraid of long speeches, this blog is here for you.
I admit to have often some troubles to follow and i beg Moe to forgive me as i don’t leave a comment on each of his posts while he’s always there when i do an update.

Moemoekyun :

Nopy Blogger, a big family! Part 2

Nopy’s Blog

A blog i discovered not for long ago i like to follow. Nopy is a big fan of nendos and it’s even on one of his review i leaved my very first comment.
Nopy made us discover magazines like Megami and Dengeki G’s. Which is greatly enjoyable when you’re not used to buy this kind if stuff. That let us get a picture of what it is before, why not, decide to subscribe. Well of course there’s many other interesting things to discover. :)

Nopy :

 » A bit about me:
Anime has been a big part of my life since I was little. The very first anime I watched was Dragonball (the first one, not DBZ) back in the early 90’s. I was too young to understand what was going on, but I really liked the fighting. A few years later, Sailor Moon aired on TV and I was instantly hooked. There was an anime store in the neighbourhood that I’d visit to buy posters and cards, but eventually Sailor Moon stopped airing here and the nearby anime store went out of business. I didn’t watch any anime again until I was 12 years old and my cousin showed me Rurouni Kenshin in Japanese with English subtitles. That was how I found out about the anime fansubbing community and websites where you could download anime episodes. It took a long time to get episodes since I was using a 28K modem, but then the internet got faster and hard drives got bigger so I was really happy. Over the next 10 years I watched hundreds of anime and eventually got into manga, figures, bishoujo magazines, and artbooks.
My blog:
I probably would never have started a blog if I didn’t get into figure collecting. In 2007, while at an anime convention, I saw a Haruhi figure for sale. I really liked it, but I just wouldn’t feel right buying a « doll » so I didn’t. An hour later, my friend who was with me convinced me that buying a figure wasn’t anything to be ashamed of, so I went back and bought it. Later, I found out it was a bootleg, but the point is that that figure got me started with figure collecting, which lead me to find a lot of blogs about figures. After reading a bunch of figure blogs I thought it looked fun and decided to start my own. A few years and thousands of dollars later, I now have a sizeable collection of figures and magazines which I try to post on my blog along with my thoughts on anime. I’ve been using the name « Nopy » since I was 13, I came up with it by typing in some random letters. I had originally planned to have my blog at nopy.wordpress.com, but it was taken so I used nopybot.wordpress.com for several months. When I decided to move off wordpress, I tried to get nopy.com but it was taken as well, which is how I ended up with nopybot.com. Currently I’m holding a contest at my blog to give away my extra Toradora figures, so if you’re interested, go check it out. »

The Dis-Jointedzone

Optic, the redactor of « The Dis-Jointedzone », arrived on Lylibellule thru Blowfish blog (quoted after)
It was a pleasant surprise for me to discover in the morning, in my mailbox, a moderation request for a comment of him.
I don’t know exactly why, Optic website always intimidated me before and i couldn’t dare leaving a comment. Which is not longer the case. Not only it’s a very nice and enthusiasm person but reading his posts is always pleasant and diversified.
Thanks Optic to have taken the first step with me ;)

Optic :

» Optic is a Sydney otaku down under. The Dis-Jointedzone is his site where he shares his passion for anime and figures to the world. His site focuses on figure reviews and news and games and magazines reviews which may come about.
Jpop and Seiyuu has also been a part of his interest and it’s only recently he has brought it into his blog community. His weekly Music Mondays and Jpop reviews are clear examples in sharing his interest more.
If I can describe myself in four words in relation with my site, it will be « I’m a figma otaku ». The figma fanboy inside me is huge and the sheer number of figmas in my collection is considered scary to some people. LOL «

Flying Pussyfoot

Blowfish is a trustful readers who’s following me since my very beginnings, even before Lylibellule was in English. He took the time to use the translator to try understand my posts and leave a comment.
I thank him from the bottom of my heart. Now that my English improved, we try to know a bit more each other :)
Blowfish is a Queen’s Blade adept and he wrote several good posts on this subject. But on Flying Pussyfoot you can find great PVC reviews along with very beautiful photos.
My personal crush : the one of
Kyouka-sama.

Blowfish :

» You want me to talk about my passion about scantily clad female figures?Alright….We have to go about 2 years back in time and it should have been around December 07 when I ordered my very first figures from Japan. What has ridden meto pay moola for overpriced plastic anyway? Rewind a few weeks and youll find me checking out an Anime Figure Thread on my favorite Videogameforum. As things go I was more than attracted of perfect 3D Renditions of your favorite Anime Characters and soon discovered the wonderful world of Importing Things from Japan.
My very first figure haul was made up of a RAH Rei Ayanami by Medicom,Monsieur Bome Jungle Emmy by Kaiyodo and Aya from Onechanbara by Yamato. These figures share the bottom shelf of my Detolf nowadays but I still have fond memories of them for beeing my « first girls » XD
I soon discovered the first blogs when I looked for Reviews to determine if a figure was worth my money. One of the blogs stood out like a shining star among the others and that was Superrats HappySoda. He really left a big impression on me and I regularly visited his site. His Blog was basically the Gateway to the blogosphere for me and I cant thank him enough for this.
After about half a year of checking out other blogs I suddenly had the itch in my fingers to write my own little figure review site and opened up my blog on the 1st of July.
Time went by and Ive met alot of interesting people and I love to make contact with people of the same interest around the world. Its always an inspiration to see so many talented photographers and I sometimes wish I could steal some of their talent while they are asleep (Yes,I mean you Lyli!)
Lately my blog has turned into a irregularly updated blog of some perverted old dude taking pictures of tiny pvc women but hey: Check it out it has BOOBS! ;-P «

Animatic Figmation

Just like Blowfish, Persocom follows me for a while. A big thanks to him.
His blog is dedicated to reviews of figmas, nendos but also PVC. His photos are really pretty and funny. You can immediately feel he takes pleasure to do them and it echoes on us :) We can only be delighted in front of this sight.
Recently he become a QB adept because of Blowfish who achieved to convert him :)

Persocom :

» When I first started blogging I only had a vague sense of what I was doing. I had just become a figure collector at the time and it seemed like a good and fun idea to post about figures and merchandise I bought. As I spent a lot of time visiting other blogs I finally decided to start taking pictures and reviewing the figures I bought. My photography skills and camera weren’t the greatest, but I like to think it’s improved since I started.
My passion for figures didn’t take long to manifest after I bought my first Figma. I started out with only action figures, because I found versatility in being able to pose them freely, and they had a much cheaper price tag. Figure collecting to me is a hobby and a means to use creativity. Of course, my blog started out mainly for figures, but I find that it’s more of a personal log of what I enjoy. I like to review anime and figures for the most part, but sometimes I do a random post about other things. I find myself feeling a part of a larger community and it gives me great pleasure to share my pictures and thoughts with others like me. My wife is also a part of AnimaticFigmation, though she doesn’t post as often, she shares my interests in figures, anime and games. Together we blog about the things we enjoy the most. «

Tentacle Armada

Here’s a website essentially composed of figures review and not the last of them! I’m pleased to discover any new Tier post because he do amazing photos! He create the scene himself and the one that did impressed me the most is the one of « Yoko Bounty Hunter vers. »
His texts are detailed and there’s always a minimum of searching.

Tier :

» I’ve been collecting figures since the end of 2005, when I received Yamato’s first Kanu Unchou figure. I’d been interested in starting a figure photo blog for several years, but a lack of time, commitment, and skill always held me back. However, I’ve long admired the work of the more well-known figure photographers in the community, and I finally decided to give it a shot in early 2009. I didn’t know how to take a decent photograph, I knew even less about how to run a blog, and I wasn’t entirely certain as to what direction I wanted to go with the whole thing. However, I figured that none of that was as important as just keeping at it. I’ve come to realize that in addition to all those things that I didn’t know when I started, I also didn’t realize how much fun all of this could be. A year later, I’m still here and still having fun.
My interest in photography has increased in concert with the expansion of my figure collection, and one of my favorite aspects of running a figure blog is trying to come up with creative ways to present my figures. My tastes also run somewhat outside of the mainstream, and so I like to show off figures that haven’t received a lot of hype or publicity. Through the future, I hope to continue to improve as a photographer and to stay happy – my number one priority on my blog and in life. «

BD’s Rantings & 4komas

A blog who, at first, didn’t specially caught my attention since gundam, gunpla and co are not my specialty. But since bd77 got his first nendo, YUI, he creates crazy stories and i love to visit and read them.
Lately, i could see that he draws too and it’s quite nice (
Here) :)
Thanks to you for taking the time to visit Lylibellue and leave comments because i know my posts don’t match your domain too.

bd77 :

» I started collecting Gundam model kits (aka gunplas) and mechas initially. Now my collection has grown into a bit of figures now with the inclusion of Revoltech’s Fraulein Yoko and GSC’s nendoroid Yui. I never had any intention of blogging before but I like to make funny stories from my collections. But after seeing other figure owners use their blog to post their stories, I’d figure: “What the heck, why not join them and share my stories also”.
From there, that’s where it all started. And now, will include two new more figures soon (the trouble maker sorts. Who are they? Stay tuned.). Figure collecting and making stories from there had taught me some basic photography principles, like how to have a steady hand and a good shooting angle.
Hope that my short stories will keep you all entertained. :) «

Listless Ink

What i like first on Yi’s blog, it’s the layout. The banner is magnificent and the chibi drawings representing RSS, Contact-me and Twitter are completely so cute.! Love it!
Listless Ink essentially propose reviews of animes, mangas and games but you’ll also find other interesting subjects. His posts are always illustrated with beautiful pictures (
i probably couldn’t found myself) and texts pleasant to read. In short, a blog a really like and who permitted me to discover the mangaka Junji Ito.
Important notice : Yi is among QB fans! :)

Yi :

» Listless Ink started as a personal blog for keeping a record of my experiences. As it turns out, the more interesting parts of life are inextricably connected to anime. The blog quickly evolved into an anime blog detailing my passion. Most of my entries are reviews or impressions for various anime, manga, or games. Because I really enjoy yuri, yuri related posts represent a large percentage of my posts. In general though, I blog about anything that may interest me and am not restricted to any one topic. Because I do not pride myself on my uninspiring writing, Listless Ink is perhaps an appropriate blog title. ~Yi «

Baden Baden Lily

Baden Baden Lyli is a blog i discovered not a long time ago. The quality and richness of posts presented by Ningyo caught my eyes because it’s a rare thing to have such a rich analysis for a single anime and sometimes, even a single episode. Unfortunately, as i don’t watch many animes, i can’t always leave a comment :(
Even if it’s mainly focused on reviewing animes, Ningyo let him go uncontrolled on diversified themes he cares about and which he takes a lot of pleasure to discuss and detail.

Ningyo :

« The ponderings of one very human mind among billions on anime, manga, doujinshi, games or just on life in general. »

      You’re welcome :)
I wasn’t gifted too at first. Just look at my first reviews. You get better with the time. It’s all at your honor to write using a language who’s not your primary used language.

    • divinelight dit :

      oh well, think about it.
you post in 2 different languages!!

I once tried to make a game (RPG) in 2 languages, but in the end I throw away option in Indonesian language, letting it only in English… frustrating for me.

« I don’t know exactly why, Optic website always intimidated me before and i couldn’t dare leaving a comment. »

Really!? Does this mean all this time I’ve been doing the complete opposite in trying to attract new readers and commentors? lol
Hmmm… maybe I need to be more serious in my comments and less funny but I wouldn’t feel myself then. :(

Thanks for featuring me. U don’t know how grateful I am and I just wish I was a regular reader much much sooner. I’m looking forward to many more great things to come. ^^

LoooL, no it’s not your fault nor the way you write your blog. I don’t know really why i had this feeling.
Maybe in my subconscious i was seeing you too big comparing to myself (i don’t know if you see what i mean? …)
Let’s say that way too often, i underestimate myself.
Well, this bad period is behind me. Now i’m happy to read your blog and leaving comments.
And i’m also glad you like the content of Lylibellule :) Thanks a lot!

  8. Ningyo dit :

Aw, thanks for the feature, Lyli. It’s just so touching to find one’s own work significant enough to be featured by other people. You guys’ve the kindest comments :)
Just so you know, I love Lylibellule too. You’ve the awesomest backdrop dioramas ever, period. You really should go pro.
Yup, I knew it, my one line would look completely paltry compared to everyone else’s summaries >.>
Oh well, I guess it’s fine. I wouldn’t have been able to say much more anyhow.
And as I said before, it’s alright; you needn’t ever force yourself to say something. Just leave comments on BBL as you see fit. Being read is cool too :D

As a blog theme/design enthusiast (somewhat) I love it when spotlit blogs are sequenced for my viewing pleasure. These guys have got wonderful themes. I’ll be visiting them now~

And I’ve been looking for the Zeonic half of that mobile suits girls picture for like the longest time! Where’d you find it? I know it’s on the boorus somewhere, but it was missing the tags I searched it by or something…
